Scores of pilgrims have booked the Kedarnath Yogadhan cave so much so that the bookings have been full till the month of October. So far, 46 devotees from all over the country have meditated in the cave.

The cave has experienced more footfall, with a large number of devotees logging into the Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam Ltd (GMVN) website daily to book the facility online after Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen meditating a couple of months ago. The GMVN has so far received Rs 95,000 through bookings just in a span of few months. The caves can be booked at a price of Rs 1,500 for a night and Rs 990 for a day.

Regional Manager of Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam, Pyare Lal said, "The operation of the caves is very important as there is a demand of people… People are asking that if two or four people can meditate together, but so far we have only one cave ready, the operation and construction of other caves will be done by the district administration."

With the existing caves receiving good amount of footfall, the district administration is constantly searching for more caves in the area. Adventure tourism officer of Rudraprayag district, Sushil Nautiyal, said, " As per the expectation of Modiji, the district administration and concerned people are searching for land. Because it is not a man-made thing ... It is a cave in the lap of nature ... It is being searched by looking at the basic requirements, its environment and temperature too .. We have been taking efforts to construct caves in the near future."
