Hafiz Saeed, the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack mastermind, has urged the Rohingya Muslims fleeing Myanmar to 'join jihad'.

According to CNN-New 18, the video shows Lashkar e Toiba and Jamaat Ud dawah chief calling on the Rohingya to wage 'holy war' if they are threatened.

The video, if proven authentic, comes at a time when thousands of Rohingya Muslims are escaping to neighbouring Bangladesh to survive the alleged persecution by the Myanmar Army in Rakhine Province.

The country's de facto leader and Nobel Peac Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi has been under immense global pressure to save the ethnic minority.

At present, the Rohingya Muslims are the stateless community that has nowhere to go.

India, on the other hand, has been sending relief material to those living in Bangladesh.

On Thursday, there were reports that the Center had filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court stating that Rohingya Muslims are threat to India's national security.

However, later in the day, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju trashed the reports and said, “have not filed any such affidavit yet.”
