J&K: Three Pak rangers shot dead in retaliatory fire after unprovoked firing upon BSF jawan

Three Pakistan Rangers were shot dead in Dewra village of Sunderbani in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district on Saturday and the Border Security Force (BSF) retaliated strongly during the cross border firing.
Today, four shells of the 51 mm mortar and the two shells of 81/82 mm mortar were exploded in Dewra village.
At around 14:50 hours, Pakistan Rangers started unprovoked cross border firing in Pargwal area of Jammu region. The BSF is now engaged in a befitting retaliation.

Yesterday, Pakistan attacked a BSF jawan while he was standing and drinking water in BOP Budhwar in RS pura of Jammu and Kashmir.
A bullet was lodged above the jawan's ear and he was immediately shifted to the hospital and his condition is stable now.
Another terrorist has been neutralised in the ongoing encounter between the security forces and fidayan terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the bodies of two Special Police Officers of Jammu and Kashmir, who went missing, were also recovered.
So far two terrorists have been killed, while three Jammu and Kashmir police officers and two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans Dhanawade Ravindra and Jaswant Singh lost their lives.
Jammu and Kashmir DGP S. P Vaid informed the media that the security forces of Army, CRPF and the state police Special Operations Group are trying to clear and evacuate everybody from those blocks, and in the process, have suffered some casualties, but added that the terrorists have been eliminated.

A CRPF spokesperson has informed that some members of the security forces were injured in the operation.
As for the evacuation operation, Vaid said that it is in the last lap and will be cleared of terrorists, who are at least three in number.
He also refuted the possibility of a security lapse that could be responsible for the infiltration, explaining that "You can't prevent if somebody is ready to die."
The encounter in E block is still underway.
