An Indian Air Force trainer aircraft crashed in Telangana on Friday, but the pilot is safe, an official communication said.
Kiran, the aircraft, was on its routine training mission. The aircraft that took off from the Hakimpet Air Force station around 2 pm crashed 50 km away in Siddipet.

The aircraft burst into flames when the cadet tried to make an emergency landing but failed.
A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause of the crash.
