From Mamata Banerjee to Anupam Kher: How people reacted to Kejriwal's 'Modi is Psycho' comment

It's by every stretch of imagination, a lovely time to be a journalist. With the advent of Twitter, we get to see politicians sans filters and today it was Arvind Kejriwal's turn to lose his complete cool. After his office was raided by the CBI, Arvind Kejriwal blasted Prime Minister Modi and called him a 'coward and a psycopath (no h)'.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader claimed that the CBI had sealed his office. The CBI denied raiding or sealing the CM's office and claimed that it was searching the office and home of senior bureacrat Rajender Kumar who has been accused of corruption. Reportedly, Rs 2.4 lakh was found in Rajender Kumar's home. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, known for high levels of tolerance for cartoonists and dissenters, claimed that she was shocked by the move: "Sealing of a Chief Minister's office is unprecedented. I am shocked." Retweeting her comment, Arvind Kejriwal claimed it was an 'undeclared emergency'.

Replying to sharp attack, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said: "The office of the chief minister of Delhi has not been raided. The raid has nothing to do with Mr Arvind Kejriwal or his tenure as chief minister. The search is against an officer." Kejriwal however accused the finance minister of lying. Day ago, Arvind Kejriwal had told a leading news channel: "There is definitely a vendetta against AAP. Five of our MLAs have been arrested on flimsy grounds."
