An FIR has been filed after court's order against Munna Marandi, son of Jharkhand BJP President Tala Marandi in a sexual harassment case.

On Thursday, there were reports that Munna had allegedly married a minor girl. Earlier on Wednesday, another minor girl had also accused him of sexual abuse.

According to reports, the marriage with the minor girl reportedly took place on June 27, in Godda region of Jharkhand and the reception was held on 29 June.

According to a newsd report, a letter by SDN Academy says the girl was born on July 25, 2005, and is enrolled in the sixth standard. The report said that Marandi's son was earlier set to marry the minor's cousin, but the girl's family backed out of the marriage.

Regarding the claims of sexual abuse, an Indian Express report said the minor girl had submitted an application before the State Commission for Women against Munna for sexually abusing her for two years with the promise of marriage.
