Delhi: Three dead, 10 injured after fire breaks out in a building in Shahdara area

At least three people were killed and 10 others injured after a fire broke out in a building in Mohan Park area of Delhi’s Shahdara, on Wednesday morning.

A call was received at 5:06 am about fire breaking out in the parking area of a house. The fire spread through the four-storeyed building, said a senior official from Delhi fire services.

Five fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the fire was brought under control by 6:30 am, the official said.

The 10 injured people are currently undergoing treatment at GTB Hospital. The cause of fire is yet to be ascertained.
