Caught on camera: Woman crushed by crane after she loses scooter balance in Mumbai

In a shocking incident, a woman was killed after being run over by crane in Mumbai's Kharghar on Sunday evening.

The deceased identified as Sujata Puri (34) was crushed by a crane after she lost balance of her scooter and fell on the ground, according to an India Today report. The incident which was caught on camera saw the crane coming from behind and running over the victim's head.

The woman was on her way home when the accident took place, the police said.

The police arrested the crane driver immediately after the incident.

The police are further investigating if poor road condition has lead to the accident.
