Arvind Kejriwal to undergo naturopathy treatment for chronic cough

Sources in the government said that Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will take care of day-to-day affairs of the Delhi Government in his absence.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will undergo naturopathy treatment for his chronic cough at a health institute in Bengaluru for 10 days from January 22. "The Delhi Chief Minister will leave for Bengaluru on January 22 and undergo naturopathy treatment there for 10 days," an official said, adding that the CM's cough has worsened since the winter has started. Besides his sugar level has also been high.

A senior government official said Kejriwal was scheduled to leave for Bengaluru on December 22, but he rescheduled his plan to personally observe the implementation of odd-even car rationing scheme which came into force on January 1. Sources in the government said that Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will take care of day-to-day affairs of the Delhi Government in his absence.

On March 5 last year, Kejriwal had also undergone the 10-day naturopathy treatment for his high sugar level and chronic cough at a health institute in Bengaluru. Officials said that Kejriwal will also visit the same health institute this year as well.
