Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal today reached Ahmedabad to embark on his four-day tour of Gujarat in order to verify BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's "development" claims.
He will also address a public meeting in Ahmedabad on the last day of his tour.
During his first visit to the state after forming a new party, Kejriwal will travel extensively in Gujarat; the former Delhi chief minister had earlier said that he wanted to see for himself if development had indeed taken place in the state.
"We've been told about Gujarat's development. So we've come here to find that out and expose the lie if it isn't true," said AAP leader Manish Sisodia to media.
Mr Kejriwal is expected to travel to several places across Gujarat.
