BJP president Amit Shah held a meeting with Delhi BJP leaders to take the stock of election preparations for the forthcoming Assembly polls.

In the meeting held last night, Shah is believed to have directed Delhi BJP to launch an all out campaign to ensure party's victory in the elections. Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay along with several party office bearers attended the meeting held at BJP Headquarters at Ashoka Road.

Shah is also believed to be unhappy with the arrangements for the public rallies of BJP MPs by the Delhi unit and he directed local leaders to gather more people for the rallies. "Shah also discussed the election preparations with Delhi BJP leaders and directed them to participate in public meetings in large numbers so that party could garner support of the masses," said a senior BJP leader who attended the meeting. In the meeting, some advertising agencies also gave presentations for running effective poll campaigns ahead of the Assembly elections.
