After Delhi's Aurangzeb Road, Odisha govt names key missile test site after APJ Abdul Kalam

The Odisha government on Friday decided to pay a tribute to the late APJ Abdul Kalam by renaming the country's missile test site after him, reports Zee news.

The Wheeler island which houses the Integrated Test Range is located off the coast of Odisha. It is one of the important missing testing facilities in India.

Kalam himself was called 'Missle Man' for his contribution towards towards the country's missile development.

Earlier today, Delhi's Aurangzeb Road was renamed as APJ Abdul Kalam Road.
