Accusing Arvind Kejriwal government of turning the Delhi Assembly into an arena of "political games", leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta on Monday charged that special session is called to "defame" the Centre and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.

"Kejriwal government has turned the Assembly into an arena of political games. The sole purpose of calling the special session tomorrow is to malign the Central Government and the Finance Minister as much as possible," he said.

The session has nothing to do with public interest issues and it will only discuss CBI enquiry against a senior official of Delhi government and setting up of an enquiry committee to probe DDCA working, he said.

BJP had tried to raise the "corrupt practices" of the officer many times in Delhi Assembly but its efforts were thwarted. The Delhi Government persistently refused to discuss it, he added.
