10,000 litres of IMFL destroyed in Bihar

Following reports of Patna Police claiming that rats finished off over nine lakh litres of seized alcohol in dry Bihar, the Patna district administration on Tuesday destroyed 10,000 litres of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) worth several lakhs of rupees, which were kept in the stores in the state capital.

“The 17,500 bottles of IMFL that have been destroyed were smuggled from Haryana last year and we have followed due legal procedure before taking the action,” said Patna district magistrate Sanjay Agarwal.
