Here's what Mahira Khan had to say about India, Shah Rukh Khan and her upcoming flick 'Raees'...
Going by the current situation between India and Pakistan, it's almost certain that Shah Rukh Khan's Raees is going to be Mahira Khan's first and only Bollywood movie. We recently came across this old interview of the Pakistani actress which she gave right after heading back to Pakistani after completing the first leg of Raees in May this year.
Since there was no speck of any kind of tensions between the two neighbouring countries back then, an elated Mahira couldn't stop praising the love and care with which she was treated in the country. In the course of the interview, she admitted that she found it difficult working with Sah Rukh Khan as she was very stressed about the shoot. Here's what she said:
"“It was difficult working with Shah Rukh and I take the responsibility for it because like I said, I went there very stressed out. The people there did so much for me and tried making everything easy for me but when you are mentally stressed then I think….There was a lot of pressure but only in my head, everything was all in my head.”
She further added that she finds Shah Rukh, the most hardworking actor she ever came across. When asked if she found any difference in working in India and Pakistan, she said, "Obviously India was more organised but can’t say relaxed. It’s so weird that you have look into so many different aspects when you are making a film – one day gets relaxed, one day got to be stressful irrespective of where you are working for this is not a paper work. Here you have actors their moods, directors, so many scenes that everyday is different. So environment wise there’s no much difference. But yes, India is very systematic."
