Salman Khan shot an extensive schedule of his next film Bajrangi Bhaijaan in Kashmir. It was the first time he shot in the valley and thoroughly loved the experience. He shot there for 45 days and while he was there he got a chance to visit the interiors and interact with the local people.

The good hearted actor really took to the scenic beauty and simplicity of the people there. They shot in a lot of outdoor locations where they had to travel by foot. Often during shoots a huge crowd used to assemble which used to sit for hours to observe the shoot. The locals were very accommodating and ensured they do not come in the way. Salman used to meet and interact with them in between shots.

They even shot a song at a durgah called Ashmuqam Dargah which has never allowed any shoot in the premises. It was a soulful experience for the actor. Salman has been wanting to go back and visit Kashmir ever since. Now with the film ready, Salman is keen for the people of Kashmir to watch it.

He feels they will feel a connect with the film. Shooting in Kashmir was a journey he made with them and wants to share the film with them. Salman is keen that the locals watch the film and has been in conversation with the team to arrange a screening.

At a recent media interaction Salman Khan shared, “I have shot in Kashmir for the first time. I would really like to show the film to the people there."
