Veteran actress Reema Lagoo passes away in Mumbai

Veteran actress Reema Lagoo who worked extensively in the Hindi and Marathi cinema world for the last four decades, passed away on Thursday morning. 

58-year-old Lagoo had been hospitalised after a heart-attack​, breathed her last at Kokilaben hospital in Mumbai.

Born in 1958, Lagoo was well-known for her role in Hum Aapke Hai Kaun and the serial Tu-Tu Mein-Mein. She was also part of films such as Saajan, Vaastav, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, to name a few.

In the 1970-80's Lagoo worked in Marathi theatre and then entered into the Marathi film industry and Bollywood.

Her last rites will be performed at Oshiwara crematorium in Mumbai at 2:00 pm today. 

Reema was married to actor Vivek Lagoo. She is survived by daughter Mrunmayee Lagoo.
