Unveiled: Eye-popping concept art from Steven Spielberg's 'Robopocalypse'

The first concept arts of Steven Spielberg's upcoming sci-fi drama Robopocalypse, including a big copper robot and some weapons, have been revealed by artist Patrick Janicke.

The first concept arts of Steven Spielberg's upcoming sci-fi drama Robopocalypse, including a big copper robot and some weapons, have been revealed by artist Patrick Janicke.

Janicke, who contributed fantastical vehicle, prop and architecture designs to Stargate, Blade, Godzilla, Speed Racer and Transformers, gave a sneak peek into the various structures.

The images shared by 49-year-old illustrator feature a big copper robot with one arm longer than the other one, a two-legged robot which has six red-and-green eyes, a green robot with four legs made of continuous tracks.

 

The pictures also highlight four weapons featuring sharp wheels and three kinds of neck brace.

Patrick also shares a picture of what appeared to be a human's house during the robopocalypse surrounded by mountain and rocks, reported Aceshowbiz.

Robopocalypse, adapted from Daniel H Wilson's novel of the same name, stars Chris Hemsworth, Anne Hathaway and Ben Whishaw in pivotal roles.

The project was announced in 2010. It got delayed due to Steven's busy schedule with Lincoln
