'Sin City' star Rosario Dawson is fascinated with 'planking'

Actress Rosario Dawson has admitted to enjoying her passion for ‘planking’ on an American television show.

The Sin City star said she was fascinated by Internet images of people lying face down and still, like a plank of wood at landmark sites all over the world and has started trying it out herself.

Dawson was present at the late-night show Jimmy Kimmel Live! when she 'planked' on the stunned host's desk, revealing she's hooked on playing dead in public and becoming part of the planking community.

"We've got some stuff up our sleeves, like, there's competition happening between our groups... What we're really trying to do is plank for peace... It's a whole new cause... We're planking all over Los Angeles. It's genius," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

Dawson, 32, expressed regret on not knowing about planking when she hit the catwalk for a charity fashion show at the Cannes Film Festival in France last month.

"If I had known about planking I would have planked on the runway. That would have been really, really cool," she added.
