London: Signourney Weaver has revealed that she will appear in the James Cameron's sequels of Avatar but with a little different role.

The 64-year-old actress said that though she is not supposed to talk about her character but her part will be little transformed in each sequel, Metro.co.uk reported.

However, Weaver's character in Avatar, scientist Grace Augustine, was killed at the end of the movie but the Na'vi attempted to revive her by shifting her soul to her Avatar, but speculations are rife that the process might have been successful causing her return in the sequel.

Avatar 2, the first of Cameron's three sequels is planned to release in December 2016, while the other two will roll out in 2017 and 2018 respectively.

Avatar actor Sam Worthington had stated earlier that work on the sequels will kick off at the end of this year.
