Superstar Shah Rukh Khan says he feels happy for his colleague-friend and actor Salman Khan after the Bombay High Court acquitted him in the 13-year-old hit-and-run-case. On Thursday, the 49-year-old actor was acquitted of all the charges, after the court held that the prosecution had failed to prove its case.

"I haven't spoken to him... But on a very personal level, without getting into anything bigger or generic, he is my friend, my colleague, we have known each other for years so if something good happens to him, we all feel happy," Shah Rukh told reporters.

The Chennai Express actor said he might go and visit Salman soon.

"I am glad... In whichever way the judgement has gone it's positive for him. So we feel happy. But I haven't spoken to him yet. May be if I get time I'll go meet him," he added.

The Bajrangi Bhaijaan star will celebrate his 50th birthday on December 27.
