Manoj Joshi will play Amit Shah in the upcoming biopic on Narendra Modi which features Vivek Oberoi
PM Narendra Modi might be in the news for upcoming elections, but that isn’t the only reason. A biopic is being made on his life. It would feature Vivek Oberoi as PM Modi. The makers have also confirmed that actor Manoj Joshi will be playing the role of Amit Shah in the film. They shared some of his looks as Amit Shah and all we can say is, Joshi is nailing the look.
Manoj is a well-acclaimed actor, who has garnered a lot of appreciation for his work over the years. The veteran actor has supposedly done a lot of research about the character. It thus becomes interesting to know how he will approach this character.
Sharing his experience Manoj Joshi said, "I am glad that I have got an opportunity to play the role of Mr Amit Shah in the film. When Sandeep Ssingh called me to offer this role, I did not think for a second and said yes. This is going to be one of the interesting characters that I will play."
Producer Sandip Ssingh shares, "This was one of the important roles in the film and I feel nobody better than Manoj Joshi could have done it. He is one of the finest actors and when I called him for the role, he immediately agreed. He is a very passionate actor and he is working really hard for his character. It is a great experience working with him and I hope the audience will like his work as well."
Among all the other characters, one of the most influential characters is of Amit Shah, who shares a special bond with the PM Narendra Modi. Not just Vivek and Manoj, but also critically acclaimed actors like Boman Irani, Suresh Oberoi and Zarina Wahab along with Darshan Kumar and Barkha Bisht have been roped in for the film.
PM Narendra Modi the biopic will traverse the journey of Narendra Damodardas Modi from his humble beginnings to his years as Chief Minister onto his landmark win at the 2014 election and finally being nominated as the Prime Minister of India. Produced by Sandip Ssingh and Suresh Oberoi, directed by biopic maestro Omung Kumar, this biopic is slated to release this year.
