Calling her "vivacious" and "good- hearted", celebrities like Shabana Azmi, Karan Johar, Arjun Rampal, Farhan Akhtar, Anupam Kher among others on Tuesday condoled the death of socialite-philanthropist Parmeshwar Godrej.
Industrialist Adi Godrej's wife, Parmeshwar, died last night at a city hospital after prolonged illness, family sources said. Parmeshwar, 70, was suffering from a lung illness.
Azmi remembered Parmeshwar as someone special, writing, "Deeply saddened to learn lovely beautiful Parmeshwar Godrej passed away last night at Breach Candy. She was truly special.
RIP."
Filmmaker Karan Johar tweeted, "She is LIFE..will never put a "was" with her name..her energy is infectious..her heart is solid and her aura is forever..I love you Parmesh." "Devastated to hear that Parmeshwar Godrej left us.Just can't believe it. This is very sad. Too soon for such a beautiful soul. Will miss you," Rampal added.
