Beyond bizarre: Gorilla to romance leading lady of TV show 'Thapki Pyar Ki'

So, Indian television has taken the quotient of weirdness another notch higher. In what may be called a never-before-seen plot in the history of Indian television, the show Thapki Pyar Ki on Colors, is all set to have a gorilla to romance its leading lady.

No Kidding! According to Tellychakkar.com, after Dhruv and Bihaan, Thapki will find another lover in the guise of a gorilla. A source told Tellychakkar , "Thapki will bring a gorilla home, which will create a mess in the house and Balvinder (Jairup Jeevan) and Vasu will try to aid one another."

The said source adds that the real twist in the tale will begin when the gorilla will fall in love with Thapki and start getting concerned about her.

Looks like there's a serious dearth of creativity which has apparently led the writers to adapt the idea from Hollywood flick King Kong. Or may be the makers of the show are in the mood to give stiff competition to another popular show on the channel i.e. Sasural Simar Ka, in which its leading lady recently turned into a fly.
