No songs in Akshay Kumar's 'Baby'

Trust Neeraj Pandey to do everything in a rather unconventional manner. The man who has made some amazing thrillers is coming back yet again, this time again with his Special 26 star Akshay Kumar for Baby. And from what we hear, Neeraj has adopted a rather international approach to his film and decided to do away with the songs.

The director feels that a film's main purpose is to engage the audiences into its story. given that Baby is a slick coming-of-age espionage thriller, overloaded with gruelling action sequences and stunts, a song was never needed. 

Few days back, Anupam Kher had claimed that there is only one song in the movie which now might as well be used as a promotional song for the film. Some films do demand the usual song and dance routine but now that directors are trying to break the jinx and defy all the stereotypic formula used in Bollywood, Indian films definitely will have a better place in the near future!
