Mahira Khan's baffling silence on Raees!

Mahira Khan's big ticket Bollywood debut vehicle has released. Shah Rukh Khan's Raees where Mahira plays the leading lady has hit screens on Wednesday and has opened to a bombastic response at the box office. 

But there is something shocking we noticed. Despite the good reviews and the public response to her film, Mahira has maintained a baffling silence on the film's release. The last time Mahira tweeted about Raees was on January 22. 

But the film has released and many have liked her performance while many haven't really appreciated her presence in the film which belongs to SRK and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Usually, we see actors and actresses send best wishes to the team and retweet reviews for their fans. But Mahira has done none of it.

That gets us to the point - is Mahira upset with SRK and team Raees? Following the huge outrage regarding the ban on Pakistani artists in India, Mahira was not asked to promote the film in India. She was not even a part of any promotional schedule with the film's main lead SRK and she had expressed her disappointment about the same in one of her latest interviews. So does her silence mean that she is upset with the makers? Think think!
