This 25-year-old and his band will play original material only.

This young man and his band ‘Carl & The Reda Mafia’ have been selected to play the opening set for Bon Jovi’s concert in Abu Dhabi on October 1.
According to The Hindu, 25-year-old Carl Frenais, who hails from Kochi, and his band will perform at the du Arena. He has stated that he and his band will play for one hour before Bon Jovi take centre stage.
Frenais, who’s a singer and writer, started his band just about a year back. The band includes Tarek Reda (Egypt) guitarist and composer, Christos Asimakopoulos (Greece) bassist and Abimbola Durojaiye (Nigeria) drummer.
They have been working on their debut album and will release a single before the concert on October 1. Called “The Moo point of View” the single will also feature Inphinix, a hip hop artist from New York.
The band will be playing only original material for their one hour set on October 1.
