John Abraham is planning to go bigger and better with Force 2. For the actor, the idea is simple: Not all films can be turned into franchises (or should be, really!), but this isn’t true of Force, he insists.

“Force is a very franchisable film,” he continues, “Let me put it this way. I will probably be doing a Force 12 or a Force 15 towards the end of my career. It comes with that kind of a capability. But we are not forcing it. If we believe that we aren’t getting the right script for Force 3, we won’t be doing it. But if we are getting a nice script, we would love to do it,” he adds.

A little prodding and he reveals details about the third installment. “We have already started scripting Force 3 way before we finished Force 2. It’s because we know the story progression, we know where we are going. Force 2 has become so evolved that it has become a brand in itself.”

He adds, “ACP Yashvardhan, my character from Force continues into  Force 2 and goes on to Force 3 as well. We have left the ending of Force 2 open-ended. So we know what’s going to come in the third part. But it’s going to be a big surprise for the audiences.”

Force 2 is due for release in November this year and the heroine will be retained for the next film. Says John, “Sonakshi Sinha has done some brilliant stunts in the film which will surprise everyone. We are hoping she will be coming in for Force 3 as well. (Smiles) We really enjoy working together.”

Force 3 will, however, have a different villain. “In the first film, we had Vidyut Jammwal, in Force 2, it will be Tahir Raj Bhasin, who, we believe, will add much value to the film. And he’s a fantastic actor. But Force has to move on. So Force 3 will have another antagonist for sure,” John tells us.
