According to some reports John Abraham had allegedly slapped a fan. However, sources reveal that the reports are not true. A source told HT, “As John exited the venue after the trailer launch of his upcoming film, a fan, in an attempt to click a photo with John, grabbed hold of him and ended up scratching him. As a knee-jerk reaction, John, turned around to grab hold of the fan, and pulled him up for his irresponsible behaviour. Later, he proceeded to his car.”

The source added, a group of fans, along with the one who was allegedly manhandled by John, went to the actor’s residence to apologise for their behaviour. “John heard them out, and also spoke at length about how he appreciates all the love and support, but only wishes that they would express it more responsibly. He even clicked pictures with them,” says the source.

John remained unavailable for a comment, but his spokesperson confirmed the news, saying, “The episode has been blown out of proportion. John would never hurt a fan intentionally.”
