Joan Rivers has won a Grammy award posthumously for Best Spoken Word Album for 'Diary of a Mad Diva'.

The late 81-year-old actress' daughter Mellisa Rivers told E! Online that she was here for a special reason and it is a difficult moment, it's a little bittersweet.

Mellisa said that Joan was nominated once for her comedy album but it's wonderful how loved she was and how she's getting so much attention now and people are really understanding what she's about.

This was the first Grammy win for Rivers.
