Is Shriya Saran the new addition to the star cast of Baahubali 2?

Rumour has it that actress Shriya Saran has been roped in to join Rana Daggubati in SS Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali 2.

According to sources, the 33-year-old actress is likely to play the role of Daggubati's wife in the upcoming movie. Nothing has been confirmed in this regard. Shriya has yet to comment on the news.

Earlier, it was reported that, the first official teaser of Baahubali 2 may be released this Dussera.

Interestingly, few days back, it was announced that the movie will hit the theatres in April 2017.

The first installment of the flick Baahubali: The Beginning came out in 2015 and earned over 600 crores INR worldwide.

And it became the first South Indian film to gross over Rs 600 crore worldwide and the first non-Hindi film to gross over Rs 100 crore in the dubbed Hindi version. It is also the highest-grossing Telugu film of all time.
