Is Aishwarya Rai teaming up with Russell Crowe?

After sashaying down the red carpet for two consecutive days at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival, actor Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan now seems to be in the running for another Hollywood movie. If sources are to be believed, the actor has discussed the prospect of working together in a movie with none other than Hollywood actor Russell Crowe.

A source from Cannes says, “Russell was with his wife Danielle Spencer and they bonded well with Ash. Word is that they also discussed the possibility of doing a film together and both parties were very keen. It would be a great starcast to have for any movie as it would see the best of both industries coming together.”
Meanwhile, it seems that Hollywood actors like Eva Longoria-Parker and Elizabeth Banks have been inspired by Aishwarya.

“Last year, Aishwarya had walked hand-in-hand with Abhishek Bachchan in Cannes much to the delight of shutterbugs. This year, Eva and Elizabeth got their husbands — NBA star Tony Parker and sportswriter and producer Max Handelman, respectively — to walk alongside them at the red carpet in Cannes,” the source adds.
Since Aishwarya is in France for the festival, she could not be contacted for comment.
