I would never cheat on Victoria Beckham: Katherine Jenkins

Katherine Jenkins has revealed that the rumours of her affair with David Beckham are “hurtful and untrue”, insisting that she is too loyal to Victoria to have an affair with her husband.

The 32-year-old classical-crossover singer, who was forced to speak up after the rumours of her alleged link-up with the married footballer resurfaced, asserted that she respects marriage and woman, and would “never do that to Posh”.

“There is not one jot of truth to any of it. I wanted to stand up for myself and everybody involved,” the Daily Star quoted Jenkins as saying.

“In the beginning you assume it’s just people who are putting two and two together and coming up with five. But it was getting out of hand, and for the sake of everybody involved I wanted to make sure people knew it wasn’t true,” she said.

“I am a girl’s girl and would never do that with a married man,” she added.

“I respect marriage and I respect women, so I would not do that to another woman,” she concluded.

The Welsh beauty is said to have contacted the Beckhams to assure them that she is fighting what she called “upsetting” claims, which started over pictures of her and Becks at the same party.
