Looks like there's more trouble for Kapil Sharma as according to the latest reports that are doing the rounds, the channel, Sony Entertainment Television is giving second thoughts to renewing the contract of The Kapil Sharma show.

Reportedly, Sony TV got a huge boost in its TRPs when TKKS first aired on the channel on April 24, 2016. Back then, the channel was keen to offer quite big bucks to Kapil and his team but as of now, rumour has it, that the deal, which costs a whopping Rs 106 crore, is not likely to be renewed .

The Times of India quoted a source as informing that the channel will consider continuing the show only if Kapil manages to bring back the members who've boycotted his team and increase his TRPs. The viewership of TKKS has been diminishing post his fallout with Sunil Grover. Reports suggest that Grover is in no mood to return to the show and other comedians like Ali Asgar, Chandan Prabhakar and Sugandha Mishra have also decided to stand in unison with Grover.

Though, Raju Shrivastav was roped in as Sunil's replacement, his magic failed to impress the audience. Looks like there's no replace to Dr Mashoor Gulati after all.
