Freida Pinto's initiative to stop food wastage at Oscar 2017 party deserves an applause!

Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto is known to stand up for several causes. After the super Girl Rising campaign, this year, Freida has joined hands with Copia to make sure there's no wastage of food at the Oscar 2017 party. 

Yes, in order to stop food from being wasted at the party, Freida and Copia will now recover the excess food and deliver it to communities most in need in Los Angeles. With a huge chunk of the world population been hit by poverty and starvation, this is a champion cause for sure.

And Freida deserves huge applause for bringing this to the forefront. She took to Instagram to announce the great news.
