Finding Fanny will not premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival anymore

After breaking the news that Finding Fanny would create a new trend by premiering the movie in India, seventeen days before its actual release, it has been learnt that the makers of the film have pulled the film out of the Toronto International Film Festival.

The film was supposed to premiere at TIFF which starts on September 4 but after the announcements of its premiere in India was made, the film won't be screened at the TIFF anymore. The film which stars Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor alongside veterans like Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur and Dimple Kapadia is directed by Cocktail maker Homi Adajania and will release all over the world on September 12.

Although Finding Fanny would not be premiering at the film festival anymore, Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Leela Bhansali will grace the international film festival's red carpet as her upcoming film Mary Kom is supposed to open the film festival.
