Did you know? Sathyaraj was NOT the FIRST choice to play 'Kattappa' in 'Baahubali'!

Baahubali has been making news for a long time now. Considering the major success, Baahubali: The Conclusion has achieved, the movie has been gaining more and more hype everyday.

Along with breaking all box office records, Baahubali 2 has some more revelations! As per reports on Times of India, the role of Kattappa was first offered to the superstar of Malayalam cinema, Mohanlal. Suprising, isn't it?

S.S Rajamouli had also confessed in an interview that he is a very big fan of Mohanlal. Yes, as per reports, he was approached to play the role of Kattappa-  the man who killed Baahubali, but this Malayalam superstar couldn't allot dates in bulk to devote for this project.

The TOI report also state that Nayanthara was initially approached to play Devasena which then went to Anushka Shetty. Even Sivagami role was first offered to Sri Devi. However we are glad to say that the final cast has been incredible and gained an equally amazing response for the movie.
