The designer clothes which David and Victoria Beckham sold off to British Red Cross for Typhoon Haiyan victims, appeared on eBay within a few hours for more than the price at which they were sold.

During the sale, the rule of one item per customer was imposed to ensure as many people as possible went away happy but that didn’t prevent some of them heading straight to eBay, the Independent reported.

Among the items was a tuxedo previously worn by the 38-year-old retired footballer that was sold by the Red Cross for 75 pounds and was then offered on eBay for 300 pounds

A pair of his trainers sold at the charity for 100 pounds and with more than six days to go before the auction closed had reached 205 pounds on eBay.

A pair of Dolce and Gabbana worn by Victoria was another item to have reached the online site.
