Caitlyn Jenner revealed having suicidal thoughts in the first episode of her reality show I Am Cait that was screened to the press ahead of July 26 premiere.

The reality star and former Olympian, previously known as Bruce Jenner, opened up that she once wanted to commit suicide before she underwent transition, reported Ace Showbiz.

"I've been in some dark places. I have been in my house with a gun and said, 'Let's just end it right there, no more pain, no more suffering,' that struggle, it's real and I've been there," she said. She was seen visiting a family of a trans teen, Kyler Prescott, who committed suicide.

The episode also featured a family reunion as Caitlyn met her mother, Esther, and sisters, Pam and Lisa, for the first time. "It's going to be so difficult for me to think of you as she. It's not easy but your values are always going to be the same, Bruce will still be there," Esther said.

It also saw Caitlyn introducing herself to her youngest daughter, Kylie Jenner, on FaceTime. Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian appeared on the docu-series as well.
