Homeland star Damian Lewis has broken his silence on rumours about him replacing Daniel Craig in the upcoming 007 movie.

Addressing the speculations that he is eyed for the next James Bond, Lewis told Evening Standard, "By the time they make a decision (on Bond) I'll be dead. So no one need to worry anymore."

The 45-year-old star believes that Craig will return for the upcoming Bond 25.

Besides Homeland, Lewis also leads showtime series "Billions". On the big screen, he has joined an all female-cast of Ocean's Eight.
