In reaction to a Sudanese national running over a woman, a 21-year old Tanzanian woman was beaten, stripped and paraded naked by a mob in Bengaluru on Thursday.
The mob assaulted the woman and her friends and even set their car ablaze. The woman, who was not related to the Sudanese national, was turned away by the police when she went to lodge a complaint. The police instead asked her to produce the man responsible for the accident.
