Deepika Padukone's EMA outfit a blunder?

Deepika Padukone may be the undisputed 'Queen of Bollywood', but the leggy star of the soon-to-be released 'XXX: The Return of Xander Cage' put a fashionable foot wrong on the red carpet at the 2016 MTV Europe Music Awards in Rotterdam on Sunday. Padukone, who usually slays with her sartorial choices, failed to impress UK newspaper Daily Mail. The tabloid did not only feature her on their list of 'Worst Dressed Celebs', but also called her a 'Bollywood blunder'. While she did cut a sexy figure in a futuristic look by Monisha Jaising, Queen D looked like she was trying too hard.

The green bralet and skirt combo did nothing for her figure. And, the proportions of those curtain tassel-esque earrings by Valliyan were way off. The belt looked like she won a wrestling championship. We are wondering why she chose to dress up like Xena, the warrior princess?
