Bipasha Basu's bash

While actors from Aamir Khan to Anil Kapoor are hosting a party for Diwali this year, Bipasha Basu is the only actress in town who is celebrating the festival with a bash. Hers is an impromptu Diwali party for her close friends and family. She is hosting the party along with her dearest friend designer Rocky S. We happened to stumble upon the details.

A friend of the actress reveals, “Bips does a small puja in the morrning on Diwali every year. At night, she and her friends get together and hang out either at her place, or they hop to other friends’ parties. Last year, Bipasha was seen partying with Shilpa and Raj Kundra. It was there that she and her close friend Harman Baweja met and subsequently started dating each other.”

This year she decided to have a party of her own, where Harman and she could spend time together without worrying about prying eyes.

Rocky and Bips have planned the party tonight. It’s strictly a near-and-dear ones affair. Harman will be present of course. He’s almost family now. The venue is yet to be decided as Bipasha’s home in Khar is under renovation. If not her home, then the party will be held at Rocky’s Bandra abode. “The invites were sent through phone calls and text messsages yesterday. Normally Harman and his parents also have a Diwali party but this year he will be getting his parents along,” the source adds.
