The much awaited victory anthem of Bajirao Mastani is launched. 'Malhari' performed by Ranveer Singh is a song packed with energy and zeal.

The song was released in Bhopal by Ranveer Singh and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. This is the fourth song after Gajanana, Deewani Mastani and Pinga.

The song 'Malhari' signifies victory and celebration and comes when Ranveer as Bajirao, motivates his soldiers, building confidence and morale in them for future battles. Written by Prashant Inglole, the song lyrics go like "Waat Laawlee" in Marathi which means he conquered and defeated his opponents.

The victory anthem is sung by Vishal Dadlani and choreographed by Ganesh Acharya and was launched in Bhopal as the region is of great significance to the warrior’s story. Since Bajirao won one of his biggest battles in Bhopal, the makers thought it ideal to launch this celebratory song there. The Battle of Bhopal is one of the biggest battles of the 18th century, which resulted in Maratha victory, thanks to the tactics of Maratha Peshwa Bajirao.
