Amanda Bynes 'mentally unfit' to attend court hearing

Amanda Bynes’ attorney has reportedly claimed that his client is mentally unfit to stand trial in her DUI case.

The lawyer in question, Rich Hutton, told the judge that the troubled actress did not have the mental capacity to understand the nature of the legal proceedings, TMZ.com reported.

The judge passed the case on to a mental health court.

The ‘She’s The Man’ star, who was put on a psych hold in July and later placed under a temporary conservatorship, was arrested in April 2012 in West Hollywood for driving under influence.
