Shahid Kapoor has been in news for the last few months- less because of his film commitments and more so because of his impending marriage with Delhi based Mira Rajput. While there have been numerous reports about their marriage dates and their wedding plans, here's all you need to know about the couple's starry couple.
DATE FIXED!
Shahid and Mira were speculated to get married this June. But now, it is revealed that the couple will tie the knot only in July. "Some people are saying it's July 10. But Shahid has asked us to be free from July 5," revealed one of his close friends. There are two news doing the rounds. While sources revealed to us that the Shahid-Mira wedding is scheduled on July 10, sources told another leading daily that it will be on July 8. Shahid has not clarified anything regarding the same.
GREECE ya DELHI?
Along with the dates, the place too has given rise to a lot of conjectures. "Initially it was told that Shahid is planning a destination wedding and the marriage ceremony will happen in Greece. But now we hear that the destination wedding has been altered to be the destination bachelor party. The bachelor party will be in Greece whereas the wedding will happen in Delhi itself.
INVITES!
Shahid has already invited his guests personally. 'The guest list mainly has his close friends and family. His mom Neelima Azim, dad Pankaj Kapur and stepmom Supriya Pathak Kapur will be present," informed a source. But the actor has planned to host a grand reception in Mumbai few days later for all his industry friends.
HONEYMOON- Cut short?
Now the actor who's taking a pre-marriage leave and finishing all his prior commitments before he ties the knot with Meera. We hear that the actor will now have to cut his honeymoon short. Why? "Shahid will have to be present in Mumbai on 15 July for his film promotions. That's why the actor won't get to spend a long honeymoon.."
EXES TOO?
Now that Kareena Kapoor has gone on records claiming that she will definitely be attending the wedding, if invited, we wonder what Shahid would do now. will he invite Bebo for his wedding? After all, they will be co-stars in Udta Punjab (not technically, though!) and also Saif Ali Khan and Shahid are all set to be co-stars as well. In Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon.
