Sunny Leone speaks up against the porn ban

While many claim that ever since Sunny Leone became a Bollywood star, she has tried to break away from her porn-star image, the actress’ response to the porn ban by the Indian government may suggest otherwise. Before become a Bollywood actress, Sunny was a successful adult film actress and now that her career has taken off in tinsel town, the sultry dame doesn’t like to revisit her past all that much. She refrains from talking about having been a pornstar on public platforms but Sunny decided to break her silence on the recent porn ban.

She tweeted out this picture of herself with her hubby Daniel Weber.

The words “Sex Sells” on Daniel’s ganji is a clear dig to the current ban on pornographic films. Right after the ban was declared, many Bollywood celebs lashed out at the government. Sonam Kapoor had tweeted, “Ban idiots who think banning things is going to make a difference to Indian mentality.. #sooverthisgovt #NextBanIdea #sick #ashamed”.

While Sunny’s response to the porn ban unlike Sonam’s was a little indirect, we are still loving her subtle dig nevertheless!
