Fire in Delhi kills two, injures 14

A fire broke out in in west Delhi's Mangolpuri killing injuring 14 people and killing two including a seven-year-old girl on Sunday.

A fire broke out in in west Delhi's Mangolpuri killing injuring 14 people and killing two including a seven-year-old girl on Sunday. 

It was 3.38 a.m when the fire broke out affecting three houses. Firemen rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire at 4:30 am.

The victims, Gayatri (7) and Surekha (30) died due to suffocation. The injured are currently being treated at Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital.

It has been reported, an inflammable item that came in contact with a high tension wire, was the source of the fire.
