AirAsia announces new routes, offers tickets at starting price of Rs 2,299

AirAsia India on Tuesday has announced that it will start flights on new routes in the country with ticket priced at starting range of Rs 2,299. 

All the new AirAsia flights will connect Ranchi with different cities in India. The airline has said that there will be daily flights operating from Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Bhubaneshwar. 

The first flight under the new plan will fly on October 7. 

AirAsia, on its website stated, "Launching daily direct flights! Fly from Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar & Hyderabad to Ranchi.” If you are interested to fly on these routes, you will have to book flight tickets in advance for these routes: Ranchi to Bengaluru, Ranchi to Bhubaneswar, and Ranchi to Hyderabad".

 AirAsia India is also offering all-inclusive airfares starting at Rs 2,299 on its new direct flights to Ranchi for a limited time period. It has informed that the ticket prices are only applicable between October 7, 2017, and November 21, 2018. 

However, it has made it clear that the offer would be subjected to availability of seats. 

Meanwhile, AirAsia Group has resumed services from Kuala Lumpur to Mumbai, using A330s operated by Indonesia AirAsia X, and is planning to add capacity on the Kuala Lumpur-Kolkata route using A320s operated by Indonesia AirAsia.

As a result of which AirAsia Group's Malaysia-India capacity has increased more than 20% to nearly 20,000 weekly seats, as flights operated by Malaysia based AirAsia and AirAsia X are supplemented by the new flights operated by Indonesia AirAsia and Indonesia AirAsia X.
