Former Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre is currenlty undergoing cancer-treatment in the US. She is responding well to chemotherapy and is stable, her husband Goldie Behl informed her fans in a tweet a while back.
Beside her husband and her son Ranveer, it's Sonali's girlfriends - Dia Mirza, Sussanne Khan and Gayatri Oberoi who are helping her 'switch on the sunshine'. They have been a great source of support to her. The ladies are ensuring that the disease doesn't dampen Sonali's spirit a bit.
Earlier on Friendship Day, an overwhelmed Sonali had thanked her friends in an emotional post. "I am extremely grateful to my friends, my pillars of strength, who at a moment's notice, arrived to be with me and help me through this. In between their busy schedules they find time to visit, call, message, FaceTime... basically never leaving a moment for me to feel alone. Thank you for showing me what true friendship is," she had written.
On Monday, Sussanne Khan took to Instagram and wrote a heartfelt note for her friend.
Sharing several beautiful pictures of the gang, she wrote, "What I know for sure... I know for sure that no matter what the tide brings in we have each other to carry on our backs n swim safely to the shore...I know for sure in a world filled with question marks these have all my answers... and I definitely know how beautiful the future gonna be.... coz I have them to share it with... my force field."
